It's Prime Big Deal Days - I did not know this but now I do, so I went and looked to see what good deals were out there and I found a couple. Check them out.

These long boxer jocks actually serve a whole host of purposes. Underwear obviously but also protective when sliding and they give a little bit of warmth.

It is not easy to find quality black soled running shoes at a great price. These look like they would be great for refereeing or you can try these new balance, which are what I where when I officiate.

I hate to say this but at our house these things have to be disposable because our kids will destroy them and we end up replacing them at least once a year. So I am always looking for a great price on goals and backyard equipment.

Labor Day Sales

Amazon (like everyone else) is having a Labor Day Sale. There are a lot of soccer specific items on there but here are a few great deals we found that you might not have thought of.

There are a handful of balls for sale. This Capelli Qatar World Cup ball is marked down to $8.29 in some sizes. I love balls that are unconventional colors because they are easier to find when my kid "looses" it during practice.

I still think the best soccer parent hack for travel is using your cooler as carry-on luggage then you have a cooler for the weekend. This rolling cooler actually folds up and can go into your luggage it just lays flat. There is a coupon when you check out that will give you $10 off.

We love Panera Bread and I am a member of the Sip Club which basically means you get a free drink every 2 hours and bonus rewards for all of your visits. Right now through September 5 Gift Cards are 20% off.

Every restaurant out there has an app, I earlier today I was able to use my McDonald's Rewards for 3 FREE Kids Meals and to make the meals healthier you can skip the fries and ask for double apples and order milk, water or OJ.

We posted SLEEFS in one of our groups earlier this week. If you are tired of your players cutting perfectly good socks sleeves might be your answer and SLEEFS is a brand we have used in our house. My sone likes them because they are long and thin.

Today I renewed my CPR/FA/AED certification. I also learned about some really great emergency preparedness products that I wanted to share with you all.

If you are looking for a way to help your player with their first touch and for you to engage in their development I highly recommend soccer tennis. This Kwik Goal soccer tennis net is probably the best quality you will find.

You might want to make the adidas Prime Day page your first stop. They have limited quantities but nearly everything is 40-60% off.

Last year when we went to Florida for an event I saw the most brilliant soccer mom move. A mom had a cooler like this one that she used as her carry-on luggage and then was able to have a cooler with wheels on the sideline all week.

Columbia has rain jackets on sale in styles for everyone. A rain jacket is a must have item for any soccer mom or dad and for your players especially when they are warming up in the rain or waiting as a sub in the rain.

This is the best deal we have been able to find on massage guns. 50% off and this is the same brand we have and use at our house which has lasted 2+ years. Right now (1:45PM 7/11/23) it is listed on Amazon for $99.

One of the best purchases I've made as a soccer mom is a boot dryer. This is the one we use at home and take with us to tournaments. Pro-tip, if you are drying boots at home I suggest you do it in the garage to reduce the stink. If you are doing it in a hotel, the bathroom is your better bet. Regardless it is going to stink.

These little pod tents are pretty much the best thing ever on those sideways rainy days or when the wind is cutting.

I am finishing up this book right now and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is especially interesting for women and parents of young women in additional to the athlete in general. The book touches on everything from the evolution of "man" (and woman) both physiologically and socially. The history of evolution, political, social and athletic implications of being a bipedaling human with knees is fascinating. 5/5 stars.

Discover College Soccer use Code: OSMD

This is the college recruitment platform I've used for resources for my son. It is very affordable and includes an amazing database of men's and women's coaches that is updated each month. I use the lifetime subscription but even if you only use the one month it is worth it just to have the spreadsheet. Just remember its updated monthly so if anything changes you won't have access to the changes unless you do the lifetime. This is a great way to dip your toe into college recruitment without a massive investment.

This foam roller is 77% off on Amazon right now. The same roller on other parts of the internet today are $25-$45. I actually have this roller in a different size and its worked well for my family its light weight and durable and has traveled with us to many many soccer tournaments.
