Ohio Leads the Country in All-American Honors

Ohio Was a Menace in 2025 — and the Best Players Are Coming Back for More

The 2025 United Soccer Coaches Fall High School All-America selections delivered a loud, unmistakable message:

Ohio high school soccer didn’t just compete this year — it dominated.

ree

Ohio was the most honored state in the nation. Out of 199 total All-Americans nationwide, 59 came from Ohio, meaning nearly 30% of all honorees hailed from a single state. That level of representation is extraordinary.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

Many of Ohio’s most dangerous players are not finished.

They’re returning.

They’re battle-tested.

And they are a menace.

The Returning Menace: Underclassmen Who Will Terrorize Ohio Again

Girls Returning in 2026

Ohio will welcome back six girls All-Americans who already proved they belong among the nation’s elite:

  • Madelyn Yost (Jr) — Niles McKinley HS

  • Nina Brandon (Jr) — Anderson HS

  • Delaney Marshall (Jr) — Chippewa HS

  • Ivy Miller (Jr) — Granville HS

  • Blake Sobczak (So) — Dublin Jerome HS

  • Emma McTigue (Fr) — Medina HS

Among this group, Emma McTigue stands out as a player to watch for years to come. As a freshman, she helped lead Medina High School to a District Championship, before falling to Strongsville in the Regional Semifinal.

McTigue plays club soccer with Cleveland Force ECNL, where she has been identified by TopDrawerSoccer as a player to watch. Already receiving well-deserved attention from league officials and scouts, her All-American honor signals the beginning of what could be a long run at the top of Ohio soccer.

Boys Returning in 2026

Two boys All-Americans will return next fall with championship pedigree and unfinished business:

  • Christian Mullet (Jr) — Hiland HS

  • Elijah Warner (Jr) — Summit Country Day

Elijah Warner, a 2008 birth year, has been instrumental in Summit Country Day’s recent dominance, helping lead the Silver Knights to back-to-back OHSAA state titles:

  • Division V State Champion (2024 & 2025)

Warner plays ECNL with Ohio Elite Soccer Academy, where he has been recognized by both ECNL and TopDrawerSoccer for his talent and consistency. Despite his age, he has already proven he can perform on the biggest stages.

Sustained Excellence: Ohio’s Returning All-American Leaders

Londen Sears — New Albany High School

While many underclassmen prepare to return, Ohio also produced a returning All-American whose dominance has been sustained across multiple seasons.

Londen Sears earned his second All-American honor after helping lead New Albany High School to an OHSAA Division II State Championship in 2024, followed by another commanding individual season in 2025. Although the Eagles ultimately came up short in the postseason, Sears’ impact never wavered — anchoring the midfield and setting the standard for one of Ohio’s most respected programs.

At the club level, Sears and fellow Ohio All-American Ryan Sullivan (St. Charles Preparatory / Ohio State University commit) served as leaders on the Ohio Premier SC U19 ECNL team, guiding the group to an Elite Eight finish at the 2025 ECNL Finals — a national benchmark of

consistency and quality.

Sears will keep his talents close to home as an University of Akron commit, joining a Zips program that has long been synonymous with winning. With Akron firmly focused on another deep NCAA run and eyes on the College Cup in 2026, Sears is positioned to make an immediate impact at the next level.

Mia Stevens — Summit Country Day

Ohio’s dominance in 2025 was not limited to breakout performances or underclassmen on the rise. It also included true sustained excellence, exemplified by Mia Stevens, a midfielder who earned All-American honors in both 2024 and 2025.

Stevens’ back-to-back recognition places her among a rare group of Ohio players whose impact has remained elite across multiple seasons. As a midfielder, she dictated tempo, controlled the game on both sides of the ball, and consistently delivered in high-pressure moments — the type of presence that elevates an entire program.

Stevens, alongside her teammate, classmate, and fellow All-American Aubrey Reder, formed the backbone of a Summit Country Day team that delivered on the biggest stage. Together, they led the Silver Knights to the OHSAA Division IV State Championship in 2025, reinforcing Summit Country Day’s reputation as one of Ohio’s most formidable programs.

Their return to the All-American list reinforces a defining truth about Ohio soccer:

This success isn’t fleeting — it’s built to last.
